The Rotary at chaibasa started functioing from the 31st day of May 1960, The charter was presented to the club by Late Popul Bhattacharjee, the then Governor of rotary Dist 326 with 18 members on 26.01.1961, Sri J.P.Srivastava (I.A.S), was charter president.
